Wee-Li Tan
EA, ChFC®, CASL®, BAcc, BD, MTh
Wee-Li has a degree in accounting and finance, and graduate degrees from universities in England & Scotland. He has 35 years as a tax professional and a clergy tax specialist working with ministers, churches and many religious organizations and institutions. As an ordained minister and an Enrolled Agent (EA), Wee-Li has a special appreciation of the unique IRS rules that apply to clergy and ministers.
Enrolled Agents are the only federally licensed tax practitioners who specialize in taxation and also have unlimited rights to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Unlike attorneys and CPAs, who are state licensed and who may or may not choose to specialize in taxes, ALL Enrolled Agents specialize in taxation. Enrolled Agent status is the highest credential awarded by the IRS.
Wee-Li has also earned both the ChFC® (Chartered Financial Consultant) financial planning designation, and the CASL® (Chartered Advisor for Senior Living), an advanced retirement planning designation.
